That's what I would like to wear every rainy day ..... that would pretty well get out for my job during the last day before vacation..... THAT goes without saying! Donatella Versace mined her brother's couture archives for the star prints that decorated her pre-fall collection, but the silhouettes—graphic little coats with contrast piping and even tinier cocktail dresses—were all hers. Everything was strictly above the knee, save for a handful of not-for-the-faint-of-heart awards season gowns, the best of which came in black lace with a slit up to there and a star detailed in peekaboo mesh on the torso. Ed Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff opened their Spring 2009 show with sheer black organza tailoring followed by a hybrid jean-leggings! The tops of outfits consisted of what Ed Meadham affectionately refers to as "rotting lace". But what was happening down south is what garnered every peeper in the tent. The view-- handmade armor and amalgams made of denim and motocross leather, patched together with shredded indigo denim with knee pads, cross-lacing, and zippers.
